So am I going to get flamed for loving my Jap Weatherby Orion that I got used a dozen or so years ago? She's my first O/U and even though there's nicer guns in my safe, I never even think of selling her. I've probably put several thousand rounds through her and she just seems to get smoother every outing :-)

FWIW, I recently picked up a new Mossberg Silver Reserve .410 O/U for my 7&9 y/o daughters. Yeah, the side engravings look cheesy and trigger is stiff, but wood to metal fit is well done. Very nice checkering and good wood, albeit a subtle grain. Deep bluing on Turkish barrels. All for under $500. Shoulders nicely and my girls love shooting it.

Life is too short for cheap guns, cheap women and cheap whiskey.
