 My crazy GSP got it into her head a long time ago that she would not drink from anything while in the field. A number of people who thought I was being abusive to the dog tried and failed. I saw one of those and got one for each dog. Now my GSP has no problems taking a water break... go figure. Pete

My dogs eagerly drink from a bottle or a Camelback tube, but there's always waste, and if they drink too fast they'll sometime choke and cough. This gadget really looks worth a try. Thanks Chuck!

I have gotten my dog used to drinking out of my camelback tube and there is very little waste if I don't squeeze the tube and spray too much water. also it is more comfortable for me to wear the backpack for the camelback under my vest rather than having my vest heavy with the water bottles I use to carry. I water my dog often (20-30 minuttes max between watering) so the 2.5 litre capacity of the camelback is a big plus aswell.

This looks like a neat gadget for those dogs who have trouble drinking in the field. Fortunately, my dog drinks from every mud puddles she sees. She especially likes the deep sunken tires ruts that are filled with stagnate water. Then she will go down and wade in the creek and drink from there. One thing you should all remember about giving a dog drinking water in the field..... you should sprinkle their nose with water. This cleans their nose of dust and pollen and keeps their nose from drying out which will help them to pick up scent better. Thanks for the tip, Chuck.
