I have a question about the rarity of a model 1900 shotgun I saw at a gunshow yesterday, it is in 16 guage and has two matching serial numbered barrels both damascus, it also has ejectors (KED by Charles Semmers book) The frame has the letter Q before the serial number. My question is how many model 1900 were made in 16 ga with ejectors? and how rare is the matching second set of barrels? the gun is well used but the bores are good and the price is $700.00

I don't believe the answers to your questions are known. I've neverseen a breakout of the 12-/16-gauge percentage. It does seem from my years of observations that KED-Grades are the most common. For some reasons it seems ejector Remingtons are more common than extractor Remingtons?!?

Researcher, Thank you for your reply, I kind of thought that might be the case as to the break down of 12ga versus 16ga, but being the low cost model having a second set of barrels might make it a fairly rare gun.

$700 sounds like a very good price for a two-barrel 16-gauge set. I paid that for this 1909 vintage 16-gauge KE-grade years ago --
