Hello Michael, If on the slight chance you should ever run across anything Pre-1900 and Norwegian, I would be very interested. Especially ones like this. By the way, I cannot thank you enough for sharing your knowledge and showing the pictures of your wonderful collection. Warmest Regards, John John, Please enlighten those of us uneducated on those rifles. I would like to see more. I am somewhat like Whitey, not necessarily a collector but a gun crank and an accumulator of quality pieces. Art

Hello Art,Thank you for the interest.
They are tennstempel rifles.
I will start a new post on them in future, so not to sidetrack this one.

Art when you say a accumulator of quality pieces you are not like me. I just look for a prospective "nice" piece. Smile Whitey

Tasteful Depression-era stock for a pre-98 Krag Sporter; something like the Griffin and Howe Sporter on this site or the Krag reputed to be COL Whelen's old gun I have seen.

I need a couple (or one 38 caliber)Parker Hale pistol cleaning rods. The older, pre-WWII ones with the wooden handle. A friend is putting together a cased Colt and need one.

http://cgi.ebay.com/LYMAN-NO-2A-COCKING-...=item19c2d17f04How about cocking piece peep sights for Krag & Springfields?
I was given a pretty nice Krag sporter with only the issue open sights, but it needs a peep.
