If you want the whole thing lightened give it a good cleaning with Hoppes #9 Copper Solvent. Look it over every morning and evening until it has faded the right amount for you. This is no bull, this really works, unfortunately in my case. I definitely did not want the SAA colors to fade, but had no idea that they would. But YOU can use this arcane knowledge to your benefit.
