Mr. Teyssier had a stock mill in Breve, France, and supplied much high-grade wood to the trade (especially the UK) in the 19th and early 20th centuries. However, two world wars and the attendant destruction have pretty much eliminated the French as a source of fine walnut. The stuff of Teyssier's mill is still looked upon with great nostalgia. And rightly so.
