Can anyone provide any information on the history of this company (or region of France) and what time period they provided walnut blanks etc.? Also, what is the primary attraction other then it appears to be dense and since it hasn't been imported for sometime its certainly aged.

Just curious because I've seen the name pop up quite a bit lately and it seems to fall into the holy grail category of wood.
