Looks like at some point an E. Jopp advertised as having a firm previously known as Emil Kerner & Sohn(Waffen von E. Jopp, vormals Emil Kerner und Sohn).

The following is a double by Ernst Kerner with January 1950 proof. I've seen some interesting standing breech stamps, but this one takes the cake. Anyone think it is a turkey over FB? I think it was meant to be an Auerhahn or grouse?

Kind Regards,

Over here in Slovenia it's called wild rooster (divji petelin). Not many are left.

Interesting safety(?) forward of the triggerbow guard on a Teschner Collath(Teschner & Sturm Patent) calibre 7 sourced from Emil Eckoldt of Suhl & Christoph Sturm found on the Russian Bear site: http://www.medwed-hunt.ru/MedwedPosts.aspx?pid=129896&p=2
