Jay Menefee is the owner of Polywad. I've met Jay, and talked with him extensively by the phone. He is a down to earth guy who got into reloading by wanting to load short tens in an old double he used for crow shooting, if I remember the story correctly. He is a straight shooter and deserves to do well in his business, IMO. He supplies needed products with excellent quality, and with great service. Glad to know everyone else that has posted has had similar experiences.
Don't know if he still does, but, he used to be a fierce competitor at the NWTF Still Target Turkey Shoot each year. These guys who compete in this match are dead serious about getting the tightest possible pattern out of a shotgun. You learn a lot about loads and chokes by competing in these matches.
