I think it would be safe to assume he was making some of them while he was was waiting for the patent to be issued. This would match the time line when the suspected stockmaker was working. I would like to know the LOP of the rifle, looks kinda short. Other than that, I like it. Well, other than that whole wrong handed thing. John Edited to add that this is based on info Michael posted a few months back. Just wanted to make sure the credit is given where due. I ain't smart enough to find that stuff myself.
