MP, I am not sure when your gun was made, but I have a couple of 3/4" thick NoShoc solid red rubber pads, new and unused in the box with screws and plugs. Made from the early or mid 1930s. This pad will not give you the "extra length" you want, but will look proper if the vintage of your gun fits. I would guess you are not going to shoot your gun a bunch, so a Galco velcro pad on top of this would help you when you decide to shoot a box or two. I'll send one to you if it would be usefull.
