I bought 4 stocks blanks of very fancy American walnut. I have used three of them and two turned out to be salt cured. One of them was terrible and rather than ruin my 20 Fox i removed it and restocked the gun.I could not even remove the trigger guard tang screw,had to grind head off to remove guard. The other stock was a Fox i built for my son.It was not rusting as bad and i glass bedded the action and that helped. Them i put a coat of Rig on the tangs and action and that has seemed to correct it. Still loosen screws occasionally! Bobby
