This British gun was sold at auction the other day. Can anyone tell me something about the gun and its rough value. There were small hairline cracks in the stock (perhaps repairs?) and the forend was loose. Barrels appeared to be damascus.
While it was a pretty gun and fit well, I didn't bid -- too many unknowns.

Lincoln Jeffries side by side double barrel shotgun. 16 ga. 26" bbls. SN 1773. Case colored receiver with checkered walnut stock and forearm. Detailed engraving and double triggers. Very good.
