Larry, RE: the weight of 20-ga. Repros. You'll get no argument from me, they are a little too heavy to carry all day---if you have tunnel vision and look at them from only that perspective. That's why they made 28-ga. 5 1/2 lb. Repros!
Look, both you and I shoot, almost exclusively, our game guns at targets. In my case, I believe that I shoot somewhere around 500 shots at a clay target to every one shot I take at a grouse or woodcock. I believe I can shoot a 20-ga. 6 1/2 lb. Repro better and more comfortably at targets than I could if that gun weighed in at 6 lbs.
They all don't have to weigh 5 lbs. 15 oz....
