Mark that is a great thread you linked to. Very nice gun and the partridge and pheasant are nearly identical between yours and mine. Mine is also a twenty gauge. Quite a bit of detailed information in it about our guns.

I bought mine from Kirby Hoyt last week. He is having a leather pad put on it for me. I haven't had it in my hands yet. Here is a link to the gun:

If you are using the Internet Explorer browser zoom up to 200% or 300%. For some reason Kirby's pictures have enough pixels in them to enlarge.

I like the scalloped back on yours.

I keep looking at the screw on the floorplate with the off-center slot cut in it (my gun). Wonder if the "screwer" had had a few pints too many at lunch and then cut the slot that afternoon.

I like both but on old Birmingham guns the Bulino would certainly be out of place!
