This is a sidelock so a new stock would be very expensive and not worth it for this particular gun. I would be curious to hear any thoughts on other options (besides a cheek pad). I recall reading an article by MM about David Trevallion doing a "buttectomy" on a gun to increase the LOP, where the stock was cut through the wrist along the checkering and a new piece of wood was attached. Would it be possible to a variation of that to decrease the drop?

What amazes me is that you're going through all this bother trying to change the drop in the first place. My collection of SxSs varies from 2 1/8" to 3" DAH and I hit what I am shooting at with any one of them, without really thinking about it. Either I am a very gifted shooter or you are getting past fanatical with your fit.
