Take it to a gunsmith who knows what he is doing. The first one worked on it. He didn't "fix" it. Might be a wild guess, but if the riginal problem was that one or both hammers were not getting cocked, the first "gunsmith" may have lengthened or bent the cocking levers(too much) and now they are not letting the hammers fire far enough. I'm politely suggesting it's not a job for an amateur.
