The W.C. Scott I was wondering about was a Monte Carlo B, circa 1902, not the older Scott with crystal indicators from I guess the 1880s. I doubt the Monte Carlo B had 13 birds. The older Scott did appear to have a bunch of birds. Anyway, it doesn't matter. I think that if you want to buy at a relatively small country auction like this one, you really should go there, as you did, and evaluate things for yourself. Thanks for the info.
