I was there. The B was a ten dollar gun with a seriously warped frame. Great gun authorities were there discussing the gun, but, regardless, the gun sold for nearly five grand in spirited bidding. I would estimate that at least five bidders carried the gun over three thousand dollars. You could read a book through the space between the flats of the barrels and action. One of the people who had been shown the guns defects was among the bidders I am told. It was some auction with several untouched older British guns.
