As TS mentioned above, the European nonchalance has always puzzled me. It's almost as tho they can't be bothered. I'm not sure that "GA-GA" is really the most appropriate appellation as I see it rather as just finishing the product at an acceptable level of skill. People here have displayed their personal skills and the results are far superior to what is seen on many so-called quality guns. Not long ago another member here and I were discussing this very topic as I had recently acquired a M12 stock of some vintage and was commenting on the quality of the checkering on such a common item as compared to far the majority of pricey European guns. We agreed that it was a strange situation. Much like the fly embedded in the fibreglas gastank of a factory Ducati race bike.
