Go for it. I had one in 20 bore but I couldn't hit with it. Too muzzle light. I've handled several 12 bores, latest at the Vintage Cup, and they didn't have that problem, in fact they seemed heavy. I wasn't interested because I like very light guns but they have to have the weight well forward before I can hit with them. Still, those short barrels are handy in heavy brush and thorn trees.
