Francotte 12ga. ser.# 86890 can anyone tell me when it was made? I don't know what grade yet i am still looking for the info to see where it is.

Most accurate info would be from Griffith & Howe.

Bob Beach can confirm if he has the records on your gun and then issue a letter. His information provided is excellent.

Of my 3 Francotte guns he was able to provide all the specifications as well as the owner history. Worth every penny and very informative.

Tommy, your gun is in the Griffin and Howe database. It was probably imported by V L & D or Abercrombie and Fitch, probably the former. Contact Bob Beach through the G&H website and get a letter on your gun.

Tom,,,,,I once had a nice 12bore #20e 32" beast of an 8.5Lb Pigeon Gun
that was 86000 ish, VL&D & that was 1929, I believe...
