Next time I'm in Augusta I'll go by the Academy Sports and ask if they will special order them. I doubt it, tho',

For anyone who is interested, I e-mailed Yildiz last evening, and had a reply this morning, as to how to go about ordering a Yildiz shotgun. They said to contact Academy Sports. Must be their only U.S retailer.

Not sure if this is taboo or not, if so my apologies.
On shotgunworld.com there is an I love my Yildiz forum near the bottom of the list. There are some threads that discuss the limited availibility and what a couple of the guys are trying to do to rectify the situation. It seems like a longshot for special orders, but there may be some hope for more distribution outside the southern Academy states

Forget about special orders from Academy. They are a mass merchandiser and have no interest in ordering one offs.

Can us "yamkees" order (In stock - not spcl order) from acadamy?
Looks like it has the hump on top of the rcvr where it meets the rib - I wonder if that could be easily machined down.....
