I am trying to find the Double Gun Journam article on David Trevallion repairing the SEVERELY broken Boss stock. Barry Lee Hands (I think) did a nice write-up on the incident on this site, and may have written the DGJ article. I tried looking through old DGJ's, searching the net, and searching this site, butam coming up empty.
Would anyone happen to know the DGJ issue it was in?

Marc,was it not in Shooting Sportsman? I have all DGJ and do not remember article in them but i could be wrong!He has a book also showing stock repair, Techinaca,spelling or something like that.. Bobby

I remember it and I believe that it was the late Mike M who did the article. They inlet a piece of baltic plywood into the wrist of the gun and then camoed it by covering it with original pieces and checkering.
At 70 my memory is not as good as it once was but I remember Double Gun as the source.

It was in the Shooting Sportsman Nov-Dec 1999 by McIntosh-Trevallion.. I can scan a copy if you do not have the magazine.
