Maybe not a true classic, but certainly vintage, and any with Harry Pope's barrels- wow. I have two .22 LR Stevens single shots (thanks GrandDad and Dad) a Walnut Hill 44 and a 414 Armory model- both make the fox squirrels (aka- tree rats) tremble once the leaves are off the hardwoods in Oct- But I just picked up a nice 14 1/2 .22LR Little Scout 20" rd. barrel Pat'd July 2-07. What is strange to me, on the rear upper part of the left side of the receiver- in a circle are the stamped initials SVG- anyone know what those initals stand for- sorry, no serial number to date year of mfg- believe they were made from about 1913 to 1941--
