Quick question....

Were there "Meriden Fire Arms Co" doubles before 1910? I've seen the basic statment of they were labeled "A.J Aubrey" before 1910 and then "Meriden Fire Arms Co" after 1910 but I think some of the guns on your list date pre-1910 based on the serial numbers. Does this simply mean that the guns sold through outlets other than Sears prior to 1910 bore the "Meriden Fire Arms Co" name?
