Will modern Krieghoff K32 barrels fit my old Remington model 32 (not 3200)? I'm looking for a set of 30" or longer barrels.

"Modern K32?" The K32 hasn't been made for many years (30?) I would assume that any K32 barrels would fit the Remington. Not sure about K80 barrels.

I have seen Remington and Krieghoff barrels switched, but I don't know what changes have to be made to do it.

K-80 and K-32 barrels swap, but quite often the rotation area is worn and must be renewed. We have trap shooters that claim the K32 barrrels shoot better patterns. bill

Bill, your answer is interesting, but a little off topic. The poster is asking about Remingtons.

bill S., your K-80 and K-32 barrel info. is interesting. I assume that you think it possible the K-80 barrels might adapt to the Remington Mod. 32. Is this your thought ?

K80 barrels have to be fitted, but they will go on a K-32. Because the Kriehoff's used the Remington blueprints and a couple Rem Mod 32s as models for their initial production I would think either K32 or K80 barrels might be fitted to the Rem 32 but you are going to have to account for wear and a minimum dimension Kreighoff probably will not work out well with a maximum dimension Rem without some metal work. When I had new K32 barrels added to my K32 they required fitting too so they will not be just drop ins. And because I had an early version the top latch had to be replaced and fitted as well.

Kreighoff in PA has the ability to silver solder inserts on the rotating half rounds on the K gun barrels, they then remachine them to factory specs. Could they fit a K barrel to an old 32, sure. Would they do it? I doubt it and the cost was $400 a few years ago. I would go to Simmons who has made barrels for both guns. I believe that they have the same skill sets and are open to more general jobs at a more realistic cost. I have been looking for a set of K-80-32 thirty inch screw choke barrels and can't find any under $2000, so get ready to spend some big bucks.
