I picked up 8 Parkers the Ithaca and a Fox sterlingworth. The Ithaca may be a 6 i won't know until i can pick them all up next week. I was not aloud to take them down for inspection. The owner of the guns was there and he said in the Ithaca that it had been in the familf for as long as he could remember and was kept in a glass case with a couple of the Parkers and never fired by the family. It is one of the nices i have ever seen. It was listed in a group with all the other shotguns and sold in a lot. I was one of three bidders in a closed bid. I don't know if the inspectors who inspected the guns really knew what they had. I don't really know what i have now either. There is a lot of engraving on this gun with gold (i guess) inlay. None of the screws are boggered up at all. If it was as the owner says great if it has been refinished then some one did a fantastic job. It shows age but know ware if you know what i mean on anything. So i will say like new? Not really knowing. I will have pics next week.
Thanks everyone for your help.
