You can't forget about the beads, HomelessjOe. When you shoot trap you align the beads before you lock the gun on your head. Having the beads aligned only 1/16" off when you mount the gun can mean several feet off by the time it gets to the target. And you have to know where the beads are going to be when you shoulder a hunting gun without looking at them. This is why you have to know where and how the gun shoots through practicing with it. That is why a lot of people can pick up just about any gun and shoot it well even though the rule says the gun should fit them....P.S.
