Genelang Sidelock Joined: Jan 2010 Posts: 683 Watkinsville, GA	I've used oven cleaner as well. Draws the grease right out. Then you have to wash it off, of course, which raises the grain. I did this on an old Enfield P 14 rifle and it cleaned it up nicely, but not entirely.
