Ballistix999, my Lancaster is a Crown model. Plain lock plates, just a bit of border engraving with a crown engraved on the locks. Nice piece of wood though. It is based on the Webley/Rogers action. 12 bore, 29" barrels, quite light and handles better than any other gun I have. It was almost certainly made by Webley and Scott. I like it. Lagopus......

Yes, that's the model except mine has two triggers, a better figured and darker stock; slightly better condition in my opinion and certainly a lot lighter than 7lb. Lagopus.....

Any idea how much this particular model Lancaster cost when it was made?? Yes, the Cabelas gun doesnt have a whole lot going for it, looks to be a C quality gun.

Yes, mine is not sleeved. I would suspect that sleeving accounts for some of the extra weight as they often use thicker tubes. Lagopus.....
