I use the low pressure ammo from RST. http://www.rstshells.com/rst_classic_shotshells_shotshells.htm I don't go often enough to justify reloading for it. About the barrels. I regularly measure the barrel walls on my guns. Ithaca barrels are usually on the thick side. This true from the Crass through the Flues models. NID maybe as well, I do not currently own one.
