I received an email from Silvio Ferrera this evening pertaining to Perugini & Visini.
I quote Silvio Ferrera, " Vincenzo (Perugini) and Darko (Visini) have in fact been working with Purdey on the new PURDEY SPORTER model O/U. It is similar to the Maestro with some changes as per Purdey. The actions and monoblocs are manufactured in England and the gun is assembled in Italy to Purdey specs, including barrels and stocking by P & V, ultimate finishing and proofing in England. The end result has been a very nice handling and reliably functioning shotgun.
Darko and Vincenzo with the aid of a gentleman by the name of Steve Sidki, whom you may know (I do not), have set up a new co. by the name of "P & V - U.S.A." All sales and service of their products destined for the U.S. will be stateside and no longer Italy. "
