What your looking at is a Charles Daly model 275 diamond quality gun circa 1910. As the period catalog states, this model is the most popular of the diamond quality models. You can see why; it is a beautiful gun. The gun looks to be an excellent mechanical shape. The gun has been restocked but appears to be very nicely done and with very nice walnut. The stock dimensions are also very useable. The 16 gauge is a big plus. IMO the 26" tubes hurt it a tad as does the restock. I think the dealer has it priced about 20% too high, but they might be able to deal. The gun would make a superb upland piece.
