It appears you are caught in a modern quandry. People seem to seek the peace and quit of the rural lakes and rivers so they have a place to run their jet skis and dance to their boom boxes at "shore parties".
I suppose in my case I am older and now object to the noisy merryment I use to be a part of. I chuckle at the "super magnum" loads I used to buy, when an oz. and an eight seems to do fine these day.
I will also add that the non toxic waterfowl loads often reach 15000 ft/sec. even in a 20 gauge.
