Jack, from the outside looking in, it would seem that King would have a handle on the issue more than we would. Yes, it pits hunter against hunter, which is how self-enforcement starts. If magnums are indeed the problem, then why would a magnum shooter have a problem curtailing them if it means the end of shooting altogether? It seems some common sense is in order.

I think it was King, or maybe Ted, who said a while back "we're not at war against these birds" or words to that effect. That is so true. It's so easy to get caught up in mustbagalimit/bigger/better/newer/magnumitis, that it's hard to remember why we're out there in the first place. The world is troubled enough; let's not be our own worst enemy.
