It is a wonder these are so hard to find. I believe there were quite a few of them made, mostly as military rifles but even those are not often found. Seems the mortality rate must have been high.

I agree that the W-R Model of 81 would make into a wonderful Creedmoor rifle, as they were of old. The side lever is ideal for shooting from the prone position.
