Phil:
If you are a novice at this, plan on making three. Chances are the third one MIGHT be good enough to put on a decent gun. This is not sarcasm. It's advice.
Best, Kensal
You hit the head on the nail, Kensal. I made one(my first) for my AYA and am getting ready to try to get it better, the second time. Wondering if anyone has tried deerskin, or is it too fragile? Does the new, politically correct Barge Cement work well? I tried Pliobond on the first one and was not happy with the way it stuck(or didn't). The instructions in MMC and DT's book, Shotgun Technicana, seemed quite good, to me.
Thank you,
