I remember somewhere some time some one was using the 6.5 Jap trigger guards for custom rifls as they are hinged.7,7 is hinges but it is stamped.
The 40X is acurate for a reason. It is well designed and mostly hand fit. Mine is a single shot so i'm not concerned about a magazine. If i need more than one shot i will take the BM59. I do want to pretty up the 600 though. There are steel trigger guards out there for it. I have not had a rimfire 40X my 22 is a Martini Mk ll Int. that I got from your friend Thad Scott Long ago.
