Dschulnigg is a high end sporting goods house that still carries expensive rifles. The right side of the barrel near the receiver will have a series of numbers. First is a two digit number indicating the year the rifle was made. Following the proof mark will be a 4/5 digit number; this is the number of rifles proofed so far that year. The receiver and the safety lug on the bolt carry the serial number. Dschulnigg made arms in any style including classic. Many were for American military officers so the caliber is probably original. In the fifties you could chose to use a new military action, this is where the 2 safeties originated. Have never seen poor quality engraving on one. Nice piece and worth restoring.
