Don't worry about it, F2F. There are adepts on here who can remember every word they and everyone else ever said and where they put a rusty, bent safety pin 30 yrs. ago. Quotation is a way to select for profundity, memorable pithiness, and unfortunately, removal of context, (and possibly inanity in the case of what's rightly attributed to me). Neither you or Joe is the worst. At present THIS Parker isn't capable of getting any job done and if I had a "job" for it, I'd take another gun, so it's pretty much a matter of nostalgia and tinkering. I do like some things about it--the 1 5/8 X 2 1/2" comb hgt. and the way it swings with 30" barrels.
