I agree Paul. I loaded two boxes oz + eighth 9s in a PC post wad over 16.5 grains Nitro 100 and a couple pieces puffed wheat for the crimp (7200psi)this afternoon. I won't go straight at skeet but they'll open enuf to make it fun and there's always shooting the full barrel out of bounds. Dryfiring on snap caps, it has failed to cock the right barrel a couple of times but opened with authority (all the way) both hammers are cocking so I doubt if I'll run into mechanical problems. The one cocking rod must be worn a bit short and the other fine and cocking early before fully open. I noticed while waiting on the NICS that the trigger plate was standing out of the rabbet slightly. Thought there might be dirt in there but a couple taps with a wood-handled screwdriver seated it and I took a turn on the screws and looks fine. Funny how many old guns you see that have been worked on by someone who couldn't get a sewer cover flush with the pavement!
