You'll see original shipping boxes on venues like Ebay periodically. Be prepared for sticker shock as apparentely very few rifle/shotgun boxes have survived. I was watching one auction for a Winchester Model 72 box for an example I have that's in almost new condition. The Model 72 was a relatively inexpensive target rifle built in the 50s and 60s. The box went for $275 which is over three times what the rifle complete with box originally sold for.
