That sounds familiar! Another publication also 'lost' some of my stuff but they never paid me.

Krause, who was the successor to DBI, was easy to work with, but after they were bought out they now have to work with a "publishing committee" which is populated with folks who are not conversant with firearms.
Truthfully all publishers are having problems stemming from a growing population that gets all its information from TV and the Net.

I think I have a spare M2 bolt around here somewhere. Can we get a little deeper into what parts we would need to create a .22 out of a 1903 and an M2 bolt? I guess a single shot would be much easier than a repeater.

Doesn't Brophy's Springfield book cover most of this stuff?

IIRC, Brophy's book covers the entire 1922 series, but not the Hornet rifles. There is probably enough information to serve as a guide & source for ideas when creating a 22 RF sporter out of parts.
