I like the Manlicher Schoenauers. My using rifles are the 600 remingtons and a custom Arisaka. With a couple of highwalls and Martinis. I had a new unfired Persion mauser carbine once wish I still had it It was as well finised as most comercial rifles.

the shorty oberndorf sporter is very special to mauser boys. these were made in 8,15x46, 6,5x54, 8x51, .250sav,.... total production was just a bit more then that of legendary remi 660 in 6,5mag and .350mag. for less then price of that bolt he too could have art deco remington 600 or 660 carabine. excluding two of yours there are still about 13,140 out there. mine is model 660 of which there are 5,203 or so still out there.
