A rifle I recently acquired, supposed to be 8x60 but really need to make a chamber cast to be sure. Very nice workmanship on a small ring 98 with a lot of engraving, any one on interpreting the legend on the rib? Anyone know anything about the maker, I would guess it was made in the 1920 to 39 era.
