Just got an email from Turnbulls, apparently they are moving and some inventory of restored guns is on sale.
I took a quick look at the shotguns, I see a Parker 12 GHE a 16 CHE, a two gun set of Fox 12 CE's, a Fox 20 XE, an LC. Smith 12Ideal and a E.M. Reilly 12.
All the guns have 2-3/4" chambers listed which leads me to ask does Turnbull lengthen chambers to 2-3/4 as a matter of course? There was an Ithaca "Restoration" gunsmith a few years ago that stated any gun sent to him for any work would be opened up "to prevent liabilities", is Turnbull doing the same?
