Folks, this gun has a story to tell--way more than most seen on this board. This is not the result of some hack gunsmith but the product of necessity, hard times and a bit of backwoods ingenuity. I'll guess that most of the "repairs" were done during the depression, or later in the Appalachias. No way or money to get a proper repair so pick up whatever is available 'n figure out how to make it good. Put it in a prominent place on your wall and every once in awhile let it remind you how fortunate we all are.
