Yes, Wilhelm is from Santa Fe, TX, just outside Galveston. Santa Fe is one of the nicest towns in the US; a great place to raise your children. It reminds one of "small town USA 1950". Jim Haynes

Wilhelm's shotgun acumen attracted me to the board. His short, sharp posts were graced by wit and humour; he's a tremendous loss. He was helpful to me in private emails after he left the board. I think he's gone to more useful things, all laid back now on a motorcycle thundering, hair flying through the pious little towns and cacti of Texas. Bless him wherever he is.

Wilhelm loved his 20-in-a-12 chamber gauge. Never heard anyone challenge him on that altho it seems a bit unsatisfactory to some of us now. One time he read me the riot act because I said the Lamboy ICD operation must be a bit disorganized considering that Steve himself took my order and card no. for a 35$ trigger guard and then didn't ship and also didn't charge my credit card. I will say for Steve that he later emailed me and apologized for the oversite but it was sort of a hint to which I gave more weight than did Wilhelm. He was fiercely protective of those he liked. I think he posted a couple of times a few months back.
