Do these pads on the pre WW-II Marlin Model 90s have the Red Head logo or a Marlin logo?

Mine is exactly as shown in the photo, Researcher: Red Head logo. Could have been added later, of course. But given what appears in the 1940 Shooters Bible, I'm guessing it's original.

I recently added a Crescent New Empire to my "hardware store" double collection. Having long arms I add vintage recoil pads to all my shooters. I have found new-old-stock Noshok, Jostam Hy-gun and most recently a couple Red Head pads, all on eBay. The Crescent now wears a Red Head pad. The label on the box is marked "Martin's Hardware - $1.75". The seller had 2 pads + 1 box, got all for 7 bucks!
I was curious about the year these were introduced, most appropriate for a 30's gun.

My Model 90, #1521, had the Red Head pad. Replaced as it was literally crumbling.
